Hush Intimate Apparel Brand Ambassador

In November of 2017, Hush celebrated our 10th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, we launched an Ambassador program. This program was conceptualized by Lisa (the owner) and Linda Michele-Dobel. We set out to find one amazing woman to help us spread our message of confidence, empowerment, self-love, and of course the importance of a professional bra fitting. We searched for a woman who is a confident, body positive, charismatic woman who believes in spreading self-esteem to other women in a big way. We also wanted a woman who knows it’s OK to love all our perfect imperfections.

The process took us 4 weeks of taking applications, reading every woman’s beautiful inspiring stories, looking at social media for each candidate, and agonizing over who to choose. We interviewed two inspiring ladies and ended up choosing both! Meet Amanda and Christina below!

Amanda B. - Hush ambassador

Amanda, a successful hair stylist, loves to keep up with the latest fashion trends and being a role model. She’s even had the privilege of training in Paris and with a few celebrity stylists. Working with people and encouraging them to look, feel, and be the best person they can be is her favorite part of being a stylist.

Physical fitness has become a big priority for her. She’s made Crossfit part of her lifestyle. Through healthy living, working out, and eating clean, she has come a long way. Knowing the amount of work it takes to get fit, she feels it is a true privilege to encourage others to love the skin they're in. Amanda also enjoys entertaining, spending time with her family, shopping, a good cup of espresso, her Yorkie-poo, unicorns, and a glass of wine after a long day.

The Hush ambassador opportunity struck her interest because she has overcome many obstacles and worked endless hours to find self-peace and be confident and body-positive.

Christina J. - Hush ambassador

“Chrissy” is a competitive dance instructor/choreographer as well as a graduate student working towards a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She loves to dance and loves helping families through therapy. She hopes to combine the two into a specialized type of therapy that not only helps heal the mind but also the body. She and her husband love to travel, camp, hike, kayak, go to concerts, and hang out with friends/family. They really love to experience new and exciting people, places, and things. Although her current path includes working in the mental health field, she used to dance for arena football, The Chicago Honey Bear Dancers, and Detroit Dance Collective.

She thinks it’s wonderful that Hush has provided this opportunity. She believes it is very important for women to be able to express themselves while continuing to promote a positive message to other women about their body image. She loves that society is embracing self-love and body positivity in relation to all our differences. She embraces her body, flaws and all, and loves being a part of a team to help other women embrace their bodies and see their beauty.
